Public Invited as Film-Television-Stage Actor, Robb Curtis Brown, Visits His Alma Mater, Pennsbury High School Series of Events on May 5th Made Possible with a Grant from the Pennsbury Arts Foundation and Organized by the Pennsbury Drama Parents Association (FAIRLESS HILLS, PA – April 25, 2012) Robb Curtis Brown, a 1975 graduate of Pennsbury High School and an accomplished film, television, and stage actor, will return to Pennsbury on Saturday, May 5, 2012 for a special series of events. While on campus, Mr. Brown will host an open question-and-answer session beginning at 1:30 p.m. in the Orange Auditorium at Pennsbury High School West, and later that evening, beginning at 7:30 p.m., he will address students and families at the annual Pennsbury Dessert Theater celebration in the same location. Both events are open to the public, and tickets are required, at $5.00 each, for the Dessert Theater event only. Earlier during his day-long visit, Mr. Brown will conduct a private Master Class for students involved in the Pennsbury Drama Program. Mr. Brown was invited to return to his alma mater by the Pennsbury Drama Parents Association and theater teacher, Mary Kay Everett. The actor’s visit is supported with a grant from the Pennsbury Arts Foundation.

Mr. Brown is one of the distinguished Pennsbury alumni profiled in the School District’s 2011-2012 activity calendar. He was seen recently playing the role of Peter in the feature film, It’s Complicated, with Meryl Streep and Steve Martin. His first movie was Trading Places with Eddie Murphy & Dan Akroyd, in which he appeared as Todd and wrote the tennis club song, Constance Frye. Other film credits include The Men Who Stare At Goats, Dreamgirls, Spiderman 3, Bruce Almighty, Red Dragon, Catch Me If You Can, After The Sunset, Guess Who, and the recently completed My Mother’s Curse with Barbara Streisand and Seth Rogan. On television, Mr. Brown created the part of Vance Evans, Sharpay and Ryan’s Dad, in High School Musical 2, and reprised the role in the feature High School Musical 3 and Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure. Other TV movies include Pandemic, The Christmas Box, Citizen Jane, Healing Hands, and Backyard Wedding for the Hallmark Channel. Mr. Brown has appeared in over 75 television series, including recent roles on NCIS, Shark, Castle, The Game, and Big Love. He can also be seen as Dan the Weatherman in the Showtime series, Look.

A graduate of Yale College and The Yale School of Drama, Mr. Brown spent eight years in New York City appearing in Broadway and Off-Broadway theatrical productions. For Joseph Papp, Mr. Brown appeared with Kate Nelligan and Kelsey Grammer in David Hare's Plenty, which moved to Broadway's Plymouth Theatre for a sold out run.
